Bonfire Night is a British holiday celebrated on November 5th. It commemorates the failure of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, when a group of Catholics attempted to assassinate King James I and his government. To celebrate the king’s survival, people lit bonfires and set off fireworks. Today, Bonfire Night is marked by fireworks displays – it’s a popular event for families and communities to gather and enjoy the autumn evening.
We are going to organise an in-person gathering with our Alumni and their families to join the musical firework display at 18:45 pm (family-friendly show) at Morden Park together. Details about the event can be found at https://londoncheapo.com/events/morden-park-fireworks/. Please note that tickets are available for purchase from 2nd September until end of September on a first-come, first-served basis.
To join this gathering, just (1) simply purchase tickets for the first show at 18:45 pm (as early as you can as mentioned) through this website for yourself and your family, then (2) complete this short Google form. We will follow up with the details on the logistics for the day.
Look forward to seeing you and the wonderful fireworks!
