CUHKAAUK 2022 Summer Outing

Exciting news!

We are back with an exciting outing arranged! 

Date & time:  13th August 2022, Saturday, 11.00am – 2.00pm

Venue:  Marble Hill House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, London, TW1 2NL

Marble Hill house is a stunning Palladian house where Henrietta Howard, the mistress of George II and friend of famous poet Alexander Pope, lived for 40 years. The house is set in 65 acres of beautiful parkland ideal for walking and picnicking.

Programme of the day:

·         Visit the house at 11.15am – we’ll go in as a group.  Entry is free but you are advised to book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.  Use the link below to book tickets.  Choose the option of ‘standard admission’.

We will not provide drinks. There are two cafes in Marble Hill where drinks can be purchased.

We have a small supply of paper plates, plastic spoons and forks but would encourage alumni to bring their own cutlery and plates.

Afterwards for those who plan to stick around, we’ll make our way to the White Swan Pub, 6 Old Palace Lane, Richmond TW9 1PG, for drinks at 2.30pm.

Number of participants:  40 (families and friends are welcome)

Please be advised that car parking is chargeable to non-English Heritage members.
